okay so whenever you post blog/text posts that you want to show up under "tags", tag them with a distinctive tag. for example "tags"

then go to customize>(/yourpagename)

click where it says "standard layout" and select "redirect"

it should say yoururl.tumblr.com/url

instead of "url" type in what you want the page to be called, for example "tags"

then under that, where it says "redirect to", type in yoururl.tumblr.com/tagged/your-tag (for your posts that you used at the beginning)

and you're done!

That is actually really simple, my friend!

If you want a list of ALL your tags follow this:

First go to customize your page.
[ settings > username > settings
or go to your tumblr and hit the customize button ]

Next you need to scroll down to pages and click the +Add Page button

it will say your url: ex randomaccountidk/url
Change url to tags

KEEP IT ON STANDARD LAYOUT

Then you will need to copy this:
<a href=”/tagged/INSERTTAG”>TAG</a>

Click HTML, paste, and edit it.

So it will look like this

<a href=”/tagged/cupcakes”>cupcakes</a>
<p><a href=”/tagged/food”>food</a></p>
<p><a href=”/tagged/funny-posts”>funny posts</a></p>
<p><a href=”/tagged/movies”>movies</a></p>

once you are finished adding your tags, click HTML and it will show you all of your tags. Hit update preview and save!
be sure to link your tags page somewhere on your theme!

For the redirect page (one tag only. I wouldn't recommend since you will have tons of pages)

Go onto Customize and click on the Pages tab.
Make a new page and where it says Page Type, change it from Standard Layout to Redirect.
Change the page URL as normal (eg. yoururl.tumblr.com/cupcakes)
Then where it says Redirect To, type in yoururl.tumblr.com/tagged/cupcakes
Example, yoururl.tumblr.com/tagged/cupcakes
Save and close.
Now whenever you post something with a certain tag, it’ll show up in this page.
