why Chrome won't uninstall saying page is open?

For some reason I can't type anything on chrome. I removed the pop up blocker and spell checker and now still can't type on any social site. I tried to uninstall and now it keeps saying a page is open. please help me.
The answer was not helpful at all. I am grateful for the help no doubt. the uninstaller did not work and restarting did not work either. There was a chrome helper that would not stop running I went to tasks manager and tried countless time to stop it. I had to reset chrome and now it works.

Restart your PC, then try again, I recommend using Revo Uninstaller.
