If you think Facebook was EVER about friends, then you're wrong. Like Google and Yahoo, Facebook is all about the advertisements. It's their only source of income and profit. Unlike Google and Yahoo, Facebook is not discriminating about what advertisements they'll show. On Facebook, many of the advertisements are either scams or links to malware.
