I have feelings for a girl who maybe likes me too?
So there's this one girl who I've known for three years now because we've been in same school (she's a year younger than me). First two years we just barely knew eachother, were only facebook friends and stuff. We sometimes hung out in same groups but never really talked.

So last year we were actually in different schools and didn't basically even see for a half a year or so. Then about one year ago she sent me a message where she told me that she had for a long time wanted to contact me and finally wanted to make it happen. We chatted for a while but back then I wasn't that interested in her and the conversation just kinda died.

Then over the summer we only hung out once in a same group with mutual friends and she actually came to talk to me. Then school started and we basically didn't talk once during the entire autumn, although she actually again messaged me congratulating about something really random she had seen me do somewhere. Again she was maybe more eager to chat with me than I was, so that convo wasn't much of story either. Then just before christmas break she came to talk to me in school and this was really the first time I kinda became interested in her.

For the past three weeks or so we've basically been talking everyday either online or in real life. It's usually by her initiative, because she is almost never alone in school and I'm not that comfortable just coming to her when she's with her friends. Also I'm a bit introverted in a sense that I have a hard time starting just a casual conversation about like weather or other general thing because I feel like I'm wasting her time.

She's like super popular so she's always talking with her friends or some random dudes, but it's almost always in a group situation (where I'm basically never involved) and I think I'm really the only boy she talks one-on-one with on a regular basis. Also she's doesn't seem at all shy with anyone else she talks with, but when she talks with me she makes surprisingly little eye contact. When I talk she looks me in the eyes but whe she talks she often looks a tad right or down. Our conversations are always about just some general stuff (like school, hobbies, "what did you do today" etc.).

So basically everyday she makes time from her friends for talking with me, but the conversations really don't "advance" anywhere. But still she keeps coming back. I also feel that she won't make the next move, because the fact that we're now talking regularly is "accomplished" by her.

So I know the brave thing to do here would be just to ask her out, but first off I'm kinda scared that if she is only interested in me as a friend, asking her out would make the relationship awkward going forward. And I wouldn't want to lose the friendship with her. And also I'm not that experienced with girls so I'm not sure how I would do that either.

So should I maybe try to take our conversations to a more personal level (if so, how and what should we talk about), just ask her out, or leave it as a friendship going forward or what?

OK, I really am not the one to be giving dating site, but do this:

A. Figure out if your relation really is that special. It sure looks like it is, but maybe that is just the way she is? From what you tell, she is a friendly and outgoing person. Are you not misinterpreting the signals?

B. Let's be honest, there's only one way to get this over with and find out. You will have to ask her out! Just do it before it's too late!

Good luck! Big Grin

Can you answer mine?
