samsung illusion prepaid plan?

so i want to buy a $100 dollar samsung illusion with an $80 dollar prepaid plan... I want to be able to do a lot of things smartphones can but i dont need as much stuff as droids or iphones so i thought this was a good cheap phone. i just want to know with this plan how much web surfing i get, how fast it is, if it has moderate battery life, if i can hold a lot of songs as well as some simple apps like Facebook and instagram.... and i have verizon

thats enough to basic web surfing, but any sort of streaming or high data-use will use it up really fast.
