How do I activate Facebook/Twitter/etc for Android?

I own a Samsung Galaxy Y. I have the Gingerbread version for Android. But when I go online using my phone and post a status/photo/thing, it just says Facebook for mobile. What do I need to do to change that to "Facebook for Android"? I'm using the Facebook application I downloaded from the Android Market. I only browse while there's a Wi-Fi connection, though--could that be another factor?

Again: I AM using the application that I downloaded from the Android Market, but it's still not showing.

It should say "Facebook for Android" when you are using the app and "Facebook for mobile" when you are using the mobile version of the website. At least that is how I understand it.

It shouldn't have anything to do with whether or not you're on wifi
