I can't log on Google Play. HELP.?

So, my dad gave me his Samsung Galaxy S II. The problem is I can't log into Google Play. There is someone's email and password needed which is of course I have no idea. I need to download Instagram or any other apps on Google Play. Some people said, I need to reformat my phone so it will automatically delete all the accounts. But there are a lot of my stuff like messages and photos. And I don't have a laptop with me now to keep those stuff. So how can I delete accounts without deleting photos and messages?

Hi...that is because that particular instrument is linked to your Dad's email account.
