Is it worth purchasing a domain from Godaddy.com?
I am considering purchasing a private domain however am unsure. Is it secure & private? How does it compare to free services such as Yahoo Mail & Gmail?

Wherever you purchase a domain name, all accredited registrars have to place your personal info (name, address, email, phone number) on what is called the whois database.

If you were to purchase a domain name from http://webneto.com, you can add on the service for that hides this information, private registration. .COM domain names from Webneto cost $9.99 USD and the private registration service costs $1.95 USD, usually $9.99 USD as well.
