I think it will be the same thing that always happens. People will complain about it for a few weeks and then everyone will forget about it.

Not necessarily... I think that Timeline is great, however, I think they need to organize it a bit better. There should be two separate sides of the timeline... one where YOU post all of your statuses, videos, photos, etc. on the right-hand side, and on the left... all of your wall posts from friends.

That would be much more convenient. I think they're headed on the right track, though. They just need to work out the kinks, and people will use Facebook regardless of how it looks.

Some people might but I feel most people no matter what will keep Facebook in order to stay in the loop with their social circles and stay informed about events and people's birthdays. I know when I deactivated my fb account for a few months I was so lost when it came to keeping up with my friends bdays and if parties were coming up because everyone has gotten so used to using Facebook to communicate. No one just calls someone anymore. I'm 25 years old though. Don't know about people 40+ years old on Facebook.

NO, i dont think people will delete their accounts because of timeline. I have seen people who hate timeline is start but now they are happy with it. Its our nature, that in start we dont like upgradation in facebook, but after some days or even hours, we like that stuff.
I think this was the reason that this time facebook allow users to upgrade their profile by theirselves. because in this way members will convert to timeline when they are ready.
I have also seen some people who were asking "how to remove timeline?".. Big Grin
So, im sure you will also like this upgrade after some time. Big Grin as it is sured that we cannot leave facebook. Smile
Good Luck

The time line is very confusing, & mixed up. I would recommend for Facebook to delete the time line! Big Grin Facebook users could always remove the time line from their profile, if they don't like it. But yeah, people will delete their account. Are you planning on deleting your account b/c of this? I wanna delete mine!

nah they will say that they are going to delete it but its going to be like all the other updates-people will whine for a few days and get over it. Most people are too addicted to facebook to quit.
