Cant log into twitter?

I recently set up a twitter account. I logged out then tried to log back in but I cant. I used a gmail email address and accidentally put co.uk on the end instead of .com. So that email account I used to create my twitter does not exist. I have try to use twitter support but unsure what steps I need to take. I have reset my password but it has been sent to the non existent account. I dont know what to do is there way I can get back into my account without setting up a new one.

If you have the accurate password then yeah, just sign in and go to settings and change the email address. You can also log in with the username.

my advice would be to just set up a new account. you've already re-set your password so i dont know what else to suggest.

After that mistake, it'll be very difficult to get help from Twitter support. The best advice I could give is to just make a new account and be very careful doing so.

Try another time and click reset button again. you may get the reset email in your mail. If it doesn't work again, then go and create another account.
