How do I ship internationally on eBay?
So my question is how do I figure out the shipping price to put up for an item I want to sell internationally? I figured out it would cost $42 to send it to the US. But to the UK it would cost $56. What price do I put up so I don't lose profit of what I'm trying to sell? how does it all work out ... please help!

Well - there are 2 ways:

1st is to limit purchasing to some countries and declare that you wont ship to some countries.
2nd is to charge different for shipment per country

OF course both ways have pros and cons.

I would also look at working with an international package forwarder like Stackry for shipping ebay purchases internationally.

There are a few possible scenarios.. I've used both.. The first is you could have the buyer open an account with the package forwarder and you ship the item to the forwarders address in the U.S...

The other option is to talk to Stackry about opening an ecommerce account with them and then you could get price lists by country (which generally be cheaper than retail USPS, FedEx etc.) and weight (real and dimensional weight.. ) and markup pricing accordingly..

It really depends on the volume you ship internationally whether you have customers get an account with a forwarder or you set up a direct relationship.
