Opting out of Marketing Options on Yahoo Mail - error!?

I am unable to access the "Update Newsletter and Marketing Options" page on one of my Yahoo mail accounts. I receive the following error: "The server "subs1.member.vip.gq1.yahoo.com" closed the connection before the transaction was completed."

I had no trouble accessing this page on my other account. Basically, I would like to OPT OUT of all marketing emails (which I know how to... but CANNOT access the page without the above error).

This is one of many error messages currently appearing while Yahoo is working on the new email upgrades. The error message is correct. The code can't reach the database so your computer "times you out". Yahoo knows about the problem but we don't know when they will fix it.

Sometimes you can opt out by opening one of those emails and looking for the icon that lets you discontinue receiving them. You don't have to go to the newsletter page.

800-318-0612 is Yahoo's toll free number but you will hold for a long time.
