Can you block certain posts on Facebook?

My news feed is constantly bombarded with my mom's motivational pictures and other stupid pictures she "liked". It's to the point where i have to scroll half way down the page to see a post from someone else, can i block this??
it's not on my page and i dont want to delete her ...just her stupid pictures
i mean i want to stop them from happening not go through and block each one

Yes you can go to one of her posts and in the upper right corner of the box her post is in there is a little arrow thing you click it and go to unsubscribe. yes go to manage posts after you hide them there are words click on the words and go to unsubscribe.
