Being 'Tumblr Famous' is hard now since Tumblr has been around a while. Heaps of blogs are up in the 10s of thousands, some 100s. To help you get there, I need to know a few things about your blog

Is your blog a humor blog? If so, great news! I am also a humor blog, trying to make it in the 'Tumblr World'! Getting tumblr famous in this category requires you to be creative and not only reblog and queue many funny posts but make your own! Be creative! There's no harm in failing to succeed. After you're on tumblr for a while you will begin to see what people find funny and worth popularity.

secondly, suck up to popular blogs! when I say popular blogs, dont choose ones with thousands upon thousands of followers because they wont notice you. choose a blog with maybe 2 3 or 4k followers. reblog their original posts and selfies, and pay them compliments. this way, if they ever have botm (blog of month) contests, promos, or blogrates you will in for a good boost!

and thirdly TRY REAL HARD TO GET INTO A NETWORK! any network will insanely up your notes! whats a network you say? popular blogs will start them and run contests to join. apply for every one possible! once you're in one, the other rising stars in the network will reblog your posts, selfies, originals and make you that much more of a superstar. you can be in multiple networks.

if you have a hipster blog, well idk that much but just QUEUE QUEUE QUEUE a whole bunch of things and get a real good theme!
