Website Development...How to link photo to a new box?

I am creating a website using a Wix template and I want to make it so that when you click on a picture, a new box opens up with a description of the picture. I dont want the link to send me to a website, document, etc.
Is there something that can help me do this/some code I can put in
Or, if anyone is familiar with wix, can you help me?
