what do your first time selling on ebay?

i just sold an ipod on ebay. its my first time selling. its been 4 days since someone bought it, and my money isnt showing up on paypal. i went to ebay support and paypal support, and it said the money wont be in my payal for another 16-90 days. do i ship the item anyways? ive heard to wait until the transaction is complete to ship it, but ive purchased on ebay before and i usually recieve the item within a week. im totally confused. im thinking i should just ship it anyways, but im conflicted with the fact the transaction hasnt officially been completed.

other useful information, it says im still awaiting payment on one item(its the ipod) and theres an hourglass where the money sign should be next to my item in >my ebay >selling. but when i hover my mouse over it, it says transaction being process in paypal. if its transitioning shouldnt i ship the item? thanks in advance.

well, the ebay support should know if the payment was made.. if it was send it

as a new seller the funds are not available to you immediately. You should ship the item though. Call eBay and make sure, but same thing happened to me a year ago and I called and they said to ship it. After you seller few more items you have access to your money immediately.

Go into your ebay account into your MY EBAY page where your sold auction is, and click PRINT SHIPPING LABEL, there in that page after you put in all your information, when you go to the links choose which option to pay and print with, look at the one that has the words in the instructions PAY LATER. the option on the bottom of the other one asking you to use paypal. Then ebay will release up to $15.00 in your paypal account to allow you to print out your label with when you use that option. After your package is delivered a few DAYS later paypal will release your money to spend any way you want to.



IF YOUR AWAITING PAYMENT ON ANYTHING NEVER SEND ANYTHING OUT, YOU CANT SEND ANYTHING TO THAT CUSTOMER ANYHOW WITHOUT THE PAYMENT BECAUSE THEIR ADDRESS WILL BE SEEN BY YOU AFTER PAYMENT.
