I'm depressed. Living at home; missing my friends.?
I'm taking medication but I know the reason I'm so depressed.
When I was 16 I was pulled out of high school from my then-boyfriend and moved. I finally was having a good school experience (was bullied before) and I moved. When I was 21, I saved up all my money and moved to the big city because I was so lonely. I survived working and going to school while making friends. It was the best time ever. I wasn't able to find a job, so I moved back home. Now I'm in school again. I'm trying to get better grades so I'm not working. Therefore, that same room from when I'm 16 is haunting me. I can't see my friends I made, and I can't go out (i'm in the middle of no where with no car/car privileges) I know its for the best because the job market is hard, and I"m doing well.

I cry all the time because I imagine my friends and how much I miss them. What should I do?

I know how you feel. When I was in school I was so far away from my friends I never saw them and I didn't have any friends at my current school. I was so consumed by my schoolwork I never had time to go out and have fun. I was really depressed. I think the best thing for you to do would just try to keep in touch with them in anyway possible. Email, text, post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or even write an old fashioned letter.
I hope that this helps and I hope everything your doing will pay off in the end to make it worth it! Smile
