My Facebook account is temporarily suspended?

On the 18th of August I went to log on my Facebook account and a little boxed poped up saying that my account was temporarily suspended. There was a continue bottom, so I clicked it and and did the security thing ( with the retyping the letters/numbers in the boxed) ,clicked continue and then it wanted my credit card number. I didn't go any further. I'm wondering how do I regain my account. Thank you for your help.

Facebook wont ask you your credit card number for security. I think your account is hacked. You should file a report to Facebook. Go to Facebook Help center you would find a option there to report to Facebook.
