Change my FB account to timeline?

I wanna change my fb account to timeline, but there's no "sign me up" button on the about page.

Go to a friend's profile that has the timeline and on the top they should be a bar asking if you want to upgrade your profile

clear your cache and cookies, log back in, and then go here

then click the green button at the bottom

if you dont see the button, try a different browser - if that doesnt work either, that means you just have to wait for it

Click the down arrow in the top right corner, account settings, security tab, deactivate account, then confirm. Then reactivate your account and select "timeline" as preferred layout. Takes 2 minutes.
