Why do people act weird with me in person but they're nice to me on FB and Instagram?
Idk if I'm delusional or what. People tell me I'm crazy for thinking no one likes me but it always seems that way to me.

People are typically cold, distant, awkward and apprehensive when they talk to me, but warm, friendly and bubbly with everyone else. Including my mom...she's awkward and weird with me but goofy, friendly with my sister.

It makes me think there's something wrong with me. People tell me I'm very pretty, beautiful..but I guess I appear intimidating? I have thick (but nice) eyebrows...idk

In high school I was really shy and quiet, people often told me they thought I was stuck up until they got to know...Anyways everyone treated me really awkwardly, looked at me with blank faces, acted nervous with me. It's honestly the worst feeling ever. My teachers treated me like that too, except maybe 2-3... I felt so alone all the time...there were a few people who treated me normal and friendly idk why, they just liked me for some reason...I don't get why they treated me do nicely when I felt like most people acted weird with me...

And sometimes I would mess things up and the people who were friendly and warm with me eventually started act awkward with me because I was do confused why they even liked me that I'd act weird with them, avoid them, etc...

But anyways I notice that people are typically awkward with me in person and friendly with everyone else but me...but on FB, Instagram or texting they're really nice to me. These same people...

Maybe you wear too much perfume in person. That IS distracting. It doesn't come through on FB.

because social media gives you a chance to be everything you lack. like a shy person will be more open on fb or insta because there is no one there to judge them loll. an anti social person can talk to everyone. I have this experience with people who follow me loll . I even joked with a dude I have class with on insta, I'm talking FULL BLOWN CONVO and we go back to school and he acts like he doesn't know me loll that's just how it is. try talking to that person more. become friends in real life?
