Tumblr theme for an advice blog?
Hey guys! I'm a newbie at Tumblr. I'm planning to make an advice blog but I don't know how to make the correct theme for it. I've seen some advice blogs on Tumblr with an ask box. I tried making one already but it didn't work out quite right, the layout was wrong. So can someone help me on how to make an advice blog theme on Tumblr?

Thanks Smile

Firstly, you can choose a theme on this site, or any other if you enter "tumblr themes" in your google search bar. I suggest, for an advice blog you would use a one column style.

What you want to do is find a theme you like. Next you can find the link to get the code for your new theme. It is normally next to the preview link and under the picture of what the blog looks like. when you get the code for the theme, you want to copy it. All of it. Then, you will go onto your tumblr dashboard and go to the settings tab on the top. Then, you will select your blog and then click customize. In order to customize the theme, you need to go into the 'Edit HTML' tab at the top. Now highlight/select and delete all of that coding that is there and paste the theme code you want into that space. then click update preview/save and then you can go back to view your options as to what you can change. You can fill in a description/add links/put a title and much more. You'll eventually get the hang of it. Hope this helps.
