SEO and my website with many downloadable file Links?

My site will be mostly with links to download my free PDF files and I'm wondering what's the best SEO strategy:

1. File Name (file name being a link)
or
2. Just text File Name with Download button next to it?
or
3. both File name being link and download button being link?

I would appreciate your opinion on which strategy I should use since that is important part of my website.

I would suggest you the keyword in your link.
If your file name is a keyword then put that only in your link.

It's best to have a descriptive, keyword rich description for download anchor text.

like: "Effective Dog training on a budget" as the blue underlined link, though the file name may be: effective_training.pdf

People will be able to download directly from the search engines so the direct SEO value may be limited, be sure you reference the site in the download.
