Bidding on Ebay? (My way of bidding)?

Okay so...this is how I bid on Ebay.
Let's say the starting bid is 0.30 on a simple little necklace and I bid 0.35.
BUT for the maximum bid I put $10 and I know no one will bid higher than that so I know that I'll win and I'll just have to pay 35 cents.
Is there any rules that don't allow that? I'm only 15 and I know I shouldn't do that again without knowing if I'll get into trouble.
What would happen? Can I do that?

You can do that. But if someone else bids $5, it's not 35 cents anymore. You're bid would become $5.25 or whatever.

Yes, you can do that, but all that shows is your 35 cents bid. So if someone comes along after you, they can bid 40 cents, in which, because you set a max bid of $10, you automatically enter a bid of 45 cents, so that becomes the high bid. If someone comes along and enters a maxbid of say $1, you and that person will automatically bid against each other until one of you reaches your max bid - in this case, the other person's $1 - so you have now bid either $1 or $1.05 (depending on how the bidding goes).

Basically, you should never enter a bid higher than the highest amount you want bid. Theoretically, some one could come along and think the same way you do and enter a bid for say $9.00 - in which case, you will automatically bid against the other person until you reach $9.05. All the other person sees is the current high bid, not the highest amount you entered (the $10).

Works fine unless some one else bids. If they bid $9,95 you will end up paying $10 for your item.

You can't bid on anything, nitwit. Children are prohibited from using eBay. Being clueless is one reason why.
