What can I try next? Suggestions?

I have entered into a 50km walk for charity with a friend and we are trying to drum up support. I even created a facebook page and we will be helping an author who raises money for this particular charity as well. Any ideas for how I can gain some more support as I haven't really had a lot of response yet. I have exhausted the facebook avenue on my part for now.

Hi! Do you have twitter? I noticed some authors followed my account even though they didn't know me, so I followed them back. They use their accounts mainly for promoting their books, asking for book reviews. I believe they found me through goodreads account which i followed. I'm sure the other authors will be willing to help their colleague, specially it'll be for a charity. God bless u!
