ebay help please?????????????

So i just bought my first item ever off ebay and im just a little nervous cause people have told me they have gotten ripped off or never received their item. i paid $59.99 for a jersey. the seller i bought it from has a 100% feedback , it says top rated plus next to his name and all so i thought that was good i guess lol, but im just a little confused and concerned cause all i was given by email was ebay saying here is my order details,it had a picture of the item, my address and the price i paid. thats it? am i guaranteed money back if i don't receive the item? how would ebay know if i actually receive it or not? sorry if i sound over concerned its just that i heard some bad things happen to people on ebay and this is my first purchase.

If you dont receive it or it is damaged you open a dispute with Ebay and they will get you a refund. If you are so afraid of getting ripped off and it does happen, dont buy sight unseen.
