Need browser help? (Read Description)?

My laptop's browser won't open properly (I click it open, and although the icon on the taskbar gets bolded, I still am looking at the Desktop background. I can click in the corner and Minimize/Close the page, but I can't do anything else), and I've tried the obvious reboot of the system and a restoration like the people told me on Customer Support, but that didn't help.

It's still connecting to the Net, 'cause I'm able to open things like Skype or Dropbox with no problem, it's just Google Chrome having a problem, I think.

What should I do?

Try uninstalling chrome then re-install it.

Or if you want a real browser install firefox.......

Use iobit uninstaller first to uninstall you browser completly with its remaining registry editor files.
Then re install your browser.

just uninstall the Google chrome first & then install the latest version of chrome or simply download it from internet....
