my internet explorer willnot let me into my search engine it comes up but does not respond to my request i hav?

Well there's your first problem.
Upgrade to Chrome or Firefox.

Right click on the explorer and hit properties. On box down on browsing hit "Delete" and remove where you been. Note I would not check pass words and the very top box will stay checked so remove the check.
To check, hit "Setting" and then hit "View" it should be empty. if not, at top you will see "Edit". on small box hit "Select all" the files should all be blue coated. Then hit "Files" and hit delete. They should be gone. You can clear out history this way.
Then reboot and that should clear your system and get it up and running.
You could upgrade and work faster if you download Chrome or Firefox. Only [problem I have is it has adds that come on which I click something that I have to clear all the time.

Upgrade your Internet Explorer it be out of date.

Open Internet Explorer, press the ALT key, then click Tools and Internet Options.  Under the Advanced tab, click the Reset button to restore the defaults.
