where can i get a free domain name?

i'm trying to find a website that allows me to get a free domain name, (not dot.tk, bit.ly, they almost gave me viruses), that i don't have to build a website for first (like wix.com). i dont have much money to spend so im looking for something that's 100% free. can anyone help?

You can create a free website using Wordpress, Tumblr, Blogger or Xanga. These platforms are completely free and a lot of people are using it. However, the bad thing about these websites is that in your domain name, you must include their name. For example, if you want your website domain name to be "howtotraindogs," then the complete domain name will be http://www.yoursite.wordpress.com).

There are several other free domains (besides dot.tk and biz.ly) listed on http://www.getfreedomain.name website.
Absolutely free .com or similar, however, is very hard to find.

Forget a free domain. If you don't have much money to spend just get a cheap .info domain name. At least you will have full control over it and they only cost about 1.99, sometimes less! I'm sure you an afford that.
