Well it mainly depends on your internet browser and anti virus. I suggest using (Google) Chrome or (Mozilla) Firefox, Internet Explorer has lots of potential threats to your system. Also if you have anti virus like Kaspersky it will block sites it detects with malware, or any other harmful threat to your device. Or you could restart your device and the problems will go away, or maybe there is a soft ware patch that had not completed downloading/installing.

Ahh, did you try to check if you are using any proxy server in the browser, disable it. Also can u ping other sites to do so :
Go to Run Command -> cmd -> ping yoursite.com

If you received proper reply then all is good else some issues with DNS resolving, why not try some free public DNS servers like google's. Change your DNS to 8.8.8.8. To change the DNS, go to Control Panel -- > Network and Sharing Center -> Network Connections -> Your Ethernet (Local Area Connection) -> Right Click Properties -> Select TCP IPv4 -> properties -> Select Use the following DNS servers -> put 8.8.8.8 as primary DNS -> Click OK -> then Ok

and try
