What websites (free) could I use for so when people search engine my name my profiles/info can be accessed?
Ok so people have been asking the opposite question. So i want to get as much 'exposure' as i can (reasons preferred not to disclose) on search engines such as google, if people search my name.

Main are...FACEbook, myspace, bebo, twitter, friendster, (networking sites) and like.... School friendfinder,,family tree... hotfrog.com...and what about talent search websites?? anyone know of any ones that come up in search engines??

*Basically Im keen to join websites, and create profiles/etc....but no fees please!!*** Serious answers only.....thanks for your help.

You've already answered your question, but some things i'll add are:
LinkedIn, MeetUp, Posterous, Weebly, and the best one is to set up your own blog. You can use either Wordpress or Blogger (owned by Google) for this, but i recommend having a Wordpress.org self-hosted blog.

I suggest you buy a domain with your name on it to get the maximum results. So for example, if your name is Gino Milan, buy GinoMilan.com and set up a blog with that. Then showcase who you are in that blog - write about your interests, your adventures, and show off your talents.

Of course, what you will put in your blog will all depend on what you are trying to do. I mean, for example if you are an aspiring singer/songwriter wanting to be noticed, then I suggest you create videos of you singing or playing your musical instruments and then create a video blog, and then promote your blog via viral video marketing.

YouTube of course, is not to be underestimated - numerous people already shot to fame due to their YouTube videos. But then again, there are other video networks you can also upload to.

Note as well that if you really want maximum exposure you need to actively know how to promote and market yourself. There are many ways to do this, but since your budget is very limited then social networking and leveraging the power of social media is your best bet.

Another tip I'll give you is to network in Twitter with people who have the power and influence to help you. For example, let's say you are an aspiring rockstar. Then go to twitter and develop relationships with people in the rock music industry. Do this carefully and skillfully, and who knows, if you're a good enough rockstar material they might notice you.

Good luck!
