Is taking a online survey safe?

My friend want to do a hack for a website but it says she needs to complete a survey to continue. Is it safe to do it? Like the one my friend wanted to do, said for me to put my email in for a chance to win a $100 Applebee's card. It it safe?

well first of all on the internet peole want your info and it is the easiest way to do it and usually these surveys where you win stuff are usually really good sounding but one life moral is if it is to good to be true then it usually is think logically well you can win stuff for completing a survey why would any copmpany do that and if there is a download weher you have to complete a survey thenm its usually either something to get your infomation or something which will inject a virus onto your computer
