facebook notifications deletable?

hi i just wondered if you can delete notifications on facebook say u added someone by accident and deleted them a notification comes up saying that accepted ur request can u delete this? thanks

You can delete the notification from your feed so your friends will not be able to see that you befriended them but I don't believe that will delete the notification from their tray. If the person sees the notification and clicks on you and finds you are not friends, this person might just assume it's a glitch with FB (glitches on FB I hear you ask? Surely not). And if you don't want to be friends, it doesn't really matter if they're confused :o)
