How can I stop getting notifications about other people's posts on Facebook?
I keep getting alerts that someone else (usually a complete stranger) has commented on a post that I've also commented on. I'm not really interested - can I filter so that I only get notifications about my own posts?

If you've commented or liked a post, you will by default get notifications for anyone else posting on it. You can change this in your facebook privacy or security settings.

yes you can change your notification settings so you don't get those specific type of noticifications
