Bittorrent restarted download at 0%?
I've been downloading a torrent containing multiple files and it was about 70% done from memory. However today, it loaded the torrent at 0% (as though it was a new torrent). The completed and partial files already downloaded have not been deleted and the torrent still pinpoints to the correct directory containing the files. However, Bittorrent doesn't seem to realise that it has already downloaded over 70% of the data and is redownloading the bits it already has. Is there anyway to resync it?

I believe this is a glitch with Bittorrent. I've had similar problems while using Bittorrent and uTorrent, so I use QBitTorrent now(Also because it has zero ads or 'premium services' on it).
But when a torrent restarts it's a sign of data corruption, it can't restore the point it was at earlier so it restarts it overwritting the files. Ads |

In uTorrent, you can stop the download, right click it, then force Recheck
I don't know if you can do the same to BitTorrent |
