What will happen if I used The Pirate Bay once?

My brother used to use Pirate Bay a lot, and I had used it probably 3-4 times total, but all that was over a year ago, and since then nothing has happened. Today I decided that I wanted an album, so I decided to go on the Pirate Bay and download it, but then I decided it wasn't such a good idea so I stopped the download and deleted the file. Now I am worried that I might get caught for using it once. What do you think will happened? Please help me I'm really worried that I'm gonna get fined, and that would be awful.

You're not going to get arrested dude; don't worry. I've downloaded a couple of games from there lately and I'm fine. It's only a risk of getting a virus but I haven't got any, so.. I guess it's ok.

"they" can come after you. Most cases I know that got caught were downloading 20-50 movies a day. The thing is that it is not sufficient for companies to go after people that don't have money. Companies spend most of their efforts in putting down the "hosts" that one would get the torrent from. Now of days it more safer to download illegal material unlike the file shearing people did when lime-wire was around. Most ISP will slow down your connection speeds if you are a active "torrenter".

Done it for years, not to say consequence is impossible, but its highly unlikely. Unless you are going big time and selling pirated goods to people, thats when you get busted. 1200 bucks worth of rosetta stone right here (personal use)
