Qus:- What is the Role of Cost Accountant ?

I want info. on role of cost accountant. I want the info. for my Cost Accounting assignment.
I hv done lot of searching on Google and icwai.org , but i couldn't find a good info.
so i came here !

>> Our sir told us:-

* write some info on role of cost accountant , max 4 pg. with some images .
* the info. should be from any one industry (eg.: IT or Hotel or ..... ) or a specific company (eg.: Google , Nokia , Mercedes ..... ).
* he also told us to visit the site : icwai.org

>> I think my assignment should contain stuff like :-

* Who is a Cost Accountant ?
* What work dose he do ? his Day to Day work ?
* What , Who helps him ?
* How dose he do his work ? dose any tool or other stuff help him in his work ?
