Well, and I know this sounds a bit daft, but on twitter you can put phone text sized messages onto a space that is yours. Then some people start to 'Follow' you, you get an email telling you that someone is following you. But they can not talk to you or respond to anything you say, niether can you talk to them.

So day one I followed a few people to see what people write about. There isn't a lot you can say in less then (I think it's 100 words). You end up reading lots of
"Today I went shopping, bought a bag of potatoes"
"Went to visit a friend, had tea, Bourbons too"

Those were two of the more interesting twitter posts, so don't expect it all to be that exciting.

Day two I posted some of my own, it's my own fault, I like to see the best in people and surely all of these twitter posters can not be dull morons who have bothing better to do with their time than tell who ever wants to know that they 'Had lemon cake for tea today'.

So I posted mine, erm erm what shall I write, don't want to tell anyone anything private, erm,
"I went to Tescos this morning and got some fat balls for the birds"

Drat, I'm as bad as the others, better come up with something better than that, errrrrmmmmm errrrm

By day three my brain absolutely refused to let me go on twitter, it knows by boredum level is very low, just thinking the name Twitter and my mind screams in pain and anguish.

That was all about 4 weeks ago, I am almost cured now, but I still get emails 'This user is following you one Twitter'. Why? Can my eating fish and chips really be the hilight of someone's life? Get out and play football or go down the pub and have a pint, don't read about some geezer like me eating blooming fish and chips!!!!!
