One of the best ways first to market your business is through a custom and professional website. Websites really are the best way to show your business to the world, however a terrible looking website will do you no good. Websites are only effective when they are professional and impressive.

If you are a tour company in Kenya and you are trying to market your website let's say in London, make sure to tap into the travel forums and travel blogs and put a link with your website.

Also use business sites like, Manta, Yelp, Google Places, Merchant Circle, CitySearch and more.

Look into good Search Engine Optimization, It's important to understand who your target market is and make sure your keywords are fit in for those.

Social media plays a big role in getting your business seen. Gather as much attention you can on it, and grow a following.

Your best bet is to contact travel agents and other tour operator's that specialize in tours to Africa. Your goal is to have your tour packaged in with their programs that they are selling to their clients. Many of the these travel agents and tour operators already figured out the sales and marketing in their country. Your job is to offer your services at such a price that they too can make money selling it to their clients.

Really your job is to act as the "ground operator" for the tour companies or travel agents specializing in the UK, Australia, India and the United States, if what you are trying to do is attract English speaking travelers.

Do a search online to find these travel specialists in each country and contact them directly. Email them your web site information making sure you have everything set up looking professional.

Create an irresistible package making sure you take care of all the details, offer it to these travel agents and tour operators that specialize in Africa or Kenya, and offer to host some of these decision makers at cost just to show them what you can do.

They will bring the people and groups if you prove to be reliable.
