Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 worth buying?

I need a device that works with apps and stuff for school but I also want to know if you can text on it and it takes photos and stuff for instagram

I Would Recommend the IPad mini mainly because it has the best app support & because its the cheapest IPad 329$

If your on a budget theres the Nexus 7 of course the Galaxy Tab 2 is the Same Price 199$ for the cheapest model. with the Nexus 7 you'd be getting the latest hardware (Quad Core NVIDIA Tegra 3) & software (Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean) but a lower quality camera 1.2 MP vs 3.0 MP plus the nexus 7 has the App market which has instagram & other social networking apps plus Games, Themes, Launchers, Etc. And Note Taking Apps

About Texting theres apps like Pinger which can give you a Free Number for Texting which is also Free

I dont know if its good for school to use, but yeah you can take pictures, text, download apps and other staff. I defenitly recommond you to get it, it is cool you will love it.
