Since you did not tell us which of the over 300 different browsers you are asking about, it is impossible for us to answer the question.

If you are looking for an alternative to IE, try Google's Chrome browser and Mozilla's Firefox. Both are well respected, fast, have lots of features and more secure than IE. They also work very similar to IE so there is little learning curve (other then try to figure out where they moved so of the options) to use either of them.

If you do not like them, simply install them.

But I would be cautious of any other browsers out there unless you first research them to be sure they really are a browser and not a harmful program claiming to be a browser.

Again, you did not tell us which browser you are interested in....
