Does the chat box on Facebook lie?
Whenever I get on facebook, it will say over in the chat box that my boyfriend is online, but when I go to message him, I get no response. And then later on when I talk to him, he says he was never online on chat at that time. Could there be like, a glitch or something with that? Like is Facebook a liar? Or could he be the liar?

that's unlikely, very unlikely. three reasons:
1. he left his chat on, even if he was offline 2. he doesn't want you to know about something |

No, only people can lie. It is inaccurate. It takes a while for it to update once a person goes offline or if they don't log off.

that just means his facebook app is active but his phone is doing something else
