What do you mean by "web master tools for SEO?"

Do you mean Google Webmaster Tools http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster‎?

Those are a MUST for any website owner, and understanding the reports they give you is essential -- from the crawl rate to HTML errors to search queries to links to your site, etc.

There are also a number of other tools that you can use, from SEOMoz's various tools to Majestic SEO's backlink checker

But start with Google Webmaster Tool. It is the ONLY place where Google will tell you what it doesn't like in your site, from unnatural inbound links to increase in authorization errors to existence of malware. It is also the only place where you can file for reconsideration requests if your site has been slapped with a manual penalty (GWT won't tell you though if your site has been hit by algorithmic penalty, though you will be able to see crawl rate and search queries going downhill if you're hit by an algorithm)

Just type your website address in the Google search box. If Google knows about your site, it will tell you. If your website doesn’t come up as a result, you need to submit your site to Google. You do not need a seo to submit your site to Google, Yahoo or Bing. You don’t pay to get into any of the big search engines natural (free or organic) listings (and note, Bing powers Yahoo results).

Submit your URL to Google:

1. Go to the following link: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/…
2. Type in your URL, example: http://www.yoursite.com
3. Enter comments about your site. This is optional. Usually I enter the genre of the site and a few keywords.
4. Enter the captcha text shown in the box
5. Select “Add URL”

Submit your URL to Bing:

1. Go to the following link: http://www.bing.com/docs/submit.aspx
2. Enter the captcha text shown in the box
3. Type in your URL, example: http://www.yoursite.com
4. Select “Submit URL”

Submit your URL to Yahoo:

1. Go to the following link: http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
2. Click on “Submit Your Site for Free”
3. You will be redirected to Bing. Follow the on-screen instructions for submitting your URL.
