i have a problem with my internet connection?

my modem -shows all the lights on(lan,power,data,and the other one)
i also checked my modem they verified and said its perfect
my computer -shows cross sign signalling that
connection 1394 has connected
and connection ethernet not connected

i also have turned off the firewall settings
please tell me the following setting to be verified for checking my internet connection and alo to make it work

Check your date and time
and reinstall your modem
and check network connection

Just reset your modem then use it.

right click on the bottom near the time showing on your computer > click troubleshoot problems > then follow the instructions

if you dont have wi-fi connection then ethernet should be connect. it will be connect with ethernet cable come with router.
