What is the basic process with Selling on Ebay?
as in what do you do after posting the item. If someone buys it how does the shipping work? Can the money they pay go straight to my Paypal, and when shipping what do i do.
Could really appreciate some help, everyone has been new to selling in this situation so please no criticism.

Ebay cannot be summed up in a yahoo answer. You would have to google the process. But MY advice would be to stay away from Ebay, selling OR buying. We lost a TON of money on there. You spend more than you make because of all the scammers. Sellers are NOT allowed to leave bad feedback for bad buyers any longer and Ebay sides with the buyer always.

We were ripped off THOUSANDS over the years. The largerst rip off , Someone actually got a free 500.00 x box from us because Ebay sided with the buyer instead of fed ex. Sell on there if you want a ton of stress and aggravation and VERY LITTLE money. Most of the time you PAY them to buy it from you.

It wasnt the item gino it was the fact that even though we had PAGES AND PAGES of documentation that the box was delivered, the buyer didnt like it that her kid bought it without her permission (told us this) and said she never got it. Ebay (paypal) sided with HER . Even though we had PROOF 15 pages worth AND POD, paypal said she had the right to say she didnt get it .

Everyone has been new to selling at one poiint, yes, but most don't expect total strangers to spoon-feed it to them for free.

Marina is right, eBay can't be summed up in a couple of sentences. It's not just a Web site, it's a culture. But I think you can make money there if you're very dedicated to it and you don't sell items (like X boxes) that are highly scammed.

There are a lot of good books out there about selling on eBay. Read one.
