how do i stop pop ups on firefox?

I'm not sure if this works. I haven't ever gotten those but there's no risk if you try this.

Go to control panel and then go to Programs, where you could uninstall things. Type 'Firefox' and then uninstall it if it is there.

Again, I'm not sure if Firefox is on Programs. I've never had to deal with that but I hope it works

Im no pro but their is a certain plug-in the called popup plug its in the Firefox settings
