Hi Marian,
What gives the error message? i.e. What software were you using or what were you trying to do?

Internet Explorer, although consistently updated, is an out of date browser. The best browsers I know are Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. I like Firefox because it is easily customized. I like Chrome because it is very fast. If you do not know much about computers or new internet browsers, I would get Chrome because it is very simple and straightforward.

Sorry I can't help with the error, but a new browser should put that worry behind you!
