Virus on my phone and don't know what to do?

So I was ocleaned iysite, and my phone popped up with something that said your phone has 3 viruses. I said OK and then downloaded a clean sweep app to clean my phone. I am supposing that it worked because it said I had a virus before I cleaned it, and now it says it's clean. Should I believe that it worked? This is the first time I've gotten a virus.

what kind is it? if its iphone take it to apple

Normally when a pop up like that happens, installing the "clean sweep" actually installs the virus, u may need to restore your phone. If it's an apple I can help, but I don't use androids,

nothing that connected to internet is not secured....be sure with a good antivirus...
