Do I get charged on ipad by mistakenly visiting Japanese porn site? It said I signed up for membership...?

It went so fast that I didnt even realized I signed up for a membership. It said I can cancel it by sending them a cancelation email, which I did send, but it also said even I cancel I still get charged 99770yen...I have my credit details on my ipad but does ipad give away my payment detail without letting me know? What shoild I do to prevent from getting charged?

Neill: thanks for your reply. well its not a cancellation fee, its a membership fee that is anyway charged even i cancel it... and i guess i signed up by clicking the tab(i didnt give away any of my info) without reading whats below...
as you mentioned, it depends on how i setup the Apple, by any chance do you know to check if i have my info secured or not?

Having never done this the reply below is just my opinion.
A late word of warning is ALWAYS read the small print before agreeing to ANYTHING.
99770 yen is approximately £582 UK pounds or $959 US dollars (This is WAY over the top for a cancellation charge in my opinion). In answer to your question Apple should not release your details or pay the bill without asking you to confirm it but it does depend on how you have set it up. A point in UK law (might not cover Japan) you can ask them to justify the cost of cancellation (in UK law they can only charge a reasonable fee). If signing up is automatic then cancellation should be just as simple therefor not 99770 yen. You could possibly cancel your credit card and get another one. Ask your credit card or citizens advice for some advice.

Sorry this may not make you feel any better but may give you some ammunition to argue the cost if you are liable. I am assuming the cancellation fee was given to you before you signed up.
