you just run the software (patch) and it patches it.
Also a patch usually comes with instructions... sometimes you need to put it in a certain directory... turn off network... only run it in safe mode... anything it could have which must be done. a patch is a simple .exe file or batch file that executes. Ads |

Not so sure, but right clicking an installation and clicking "Run as administrator" usually works when an installations not working for me.

Sometimes patches are in zips. If so unzip it and look for a read me. It will more likely give a location. Copy the contents of the patch folder to that location and replace any files that might be the same as the ones you're copying. The ones that are .exe simply run the application and select the location of the installed program and install it there.

If your PC is Windows compatible, then just download Windows patching software from internet (search it, for W-7, W- Vista etc. like as). Then you just do it install on your PC. Thanks
