Why isn't my pottermore email working?

I'm trying to register on pottermore but every time I try and put in my email on step 3 it says "Sorry this does not look like a real email address please enter it again" I've tried a bunch of different emails on gmail and yahoo accounts. I've even created new emails. Can anybody help me? It will be very much appreciated.

The way these systems detect whether your email is a 'real' address or not is by detecting the @ symbol followed by the '.' in that order. When you type it in the box, it must be in the form emailaddress@gmail.com or anotheraddress@yahoo.com. It will also reject it if there are spaces ANYWHERE within the address.
